Stumptown has grown into a national brand but risks losing the authenticity that drew its original fans. With Gen Z and Millennials seeking coffee that reflects their identity, the challenge is standing out in a crowded market while building lasting loyalty.
The Insight
Coffee lovers are so specific about how they like their coffee and have high expectations when looking for their morning staple.
The Solution
Finding the right coffee is like finding “The One.” With so many options out there, it can be hard to find one that truly fits. Stumptown makes it easy to discover the roast that’s your perfect match. If you can’t commit to anything else, commit to your coffee.
Speed Dating with Stumptown
A speed-dating collaboration between Stumptown Coffee Roasters and Hinge, where people can discover their perfect match while also finding their perfect roast.
Blind Date with a Brew
Stumptown will send out PR boxes featuring four mystery roasts. Recipients are invited to taste each coffee and rate it on flavor, aroma, body, smoothness, and strength. After completing their blind dates, they can scan the QR code on the box to reveal the roast they will commit to and receive a discount on their next bag.
